Built for flexible measurement applications, the BK Precision 8460 supports up to 36 analog inputs using interchangeable measurement boards for voltage, current, temperature, and strain measurements. Its 3-slot modular design allows users to configure the system with universal, isolated high-voltage, multiplexed, or strain gauge input modules based on specific testing requirements.

For demanding high-speed applications, the system can simultaneously acquire and record up to 18 channels at 1 MSa/s in memory mode, making it ideal for capturing transient events and fast-changing signals. Advanced trigger and recording functions support analog level or edge triggering, logic conditions, and scheduled start/stop recording for automated test workflows.

The integrated 270 mm thermal printer enables immediate wide-format data printing for documentation, troubleshooting, and analysis. Measurement data can also be viewed graphically or numerically on the 15.4-inch touchscreen display, stored to the internal hard drive, or transferred remotely through built-in LAN connectivity or optional USB Wi-Fi support.

Built-in analysis tools include mathematical functions and dedicated power quality analysis for single-phase and three-phase electrical systems. Users can analyze voltages, currents, harmonics, vector diagrams, and calculated power values directly from the instrument.
